How to Pack Your Pops
Protect your items • Avoid transit damage • Smooth inspection
The fastest way to keep your offer strong is simple: pack like you’re sending it to yourself. We inspect items as they arrive — if they’re damaged in transit due to poor packaging, the final offer may change.
Quick rule: Pops shouldn’t be able to move inside the box. If you shake the parcel and feel movement, add more padding.
What you’ll need
- Strong outer cardboard box (double-wall if possible)
- Bubble wrap (large bubbles ideal)
- Void fill: packing paper / airbags / foam
- Tape (wide parcel tape)
- Optional: protectors (hard stack / soft protector)
Avoid these (common problems)
- Mailing bags / bin bags / thin boxes
- “One layer of bubble wrap” with empty space in the carton
- Loose Pops that can rattle around
- Using only shredded paper for heavy items
- Over-tight tape directly on the Pop box (can tear)
Step-by-step packing (best practice)
1) Prep each Pop
- If you have a protector, use it (recommended).
- Wrap the Pop (or protector) in 2–3 layers of bubble wrap.
- Tape the bubble wrap to itself (not to the Pop box).
2) Choose the right outer box
- Pick a box that allows at least 5cm padding on every side.
- For high value items, use a double-wall box and consider double-boxing.
3) Build the base
- Add a layer of padding at the bottom (paper/airbags/foam).
- Place wrapped Pops upright, like books on a shelf (best for corners).
4) Fill all voids (no movement)
- Fill gaps between items with padding so nothing can shift.
- Add a top layer of padding before sealing the box.
- Do the shake test — if it moves, add more fill.
5) Seal and label
- Tape all seams using the “H-tape” method (centre seam + both edges).
- Use a tracked service and keep your tracking number.
- If your dashboard provides any reference number, include it inside the parcel too.
Transit damage notice: If an item arrives damaged due to insufficient packaging, we may revise the offer to reflect the condition on arrival.
Special cases
Signed Pops
- Use a protector if possible and avoid friction on the window.
- Do not place tape or labels anywhere near the signature area.
- If you have a COA, pack it in a sleeve/envelope inside the box.
Large / Deluxe / Multipacks
- Use a bigger, stronger box with extra padding.
- Corner protection is key — add extra bubble wrap at corners.
- Consider double-boxing for heavy or high value items.
